    Mark Taylor has more than 20 years experience with cleaning carpets, rugs, lounge suites, chairs and mattresses and bringing them back to new. Mark opened Ultra Clean Carpet Cleaning in 1999 and the business is IICRC accredited. We have many ongoing clients who would be happy to provide a testimonial - you just need to ask!

     

    The service offered is second to none, the staff do everything possible to remove stains from your carpets and furnishings as quickly as possible, the usual response time is within 24 hours. There is no extra charge for spot/stain removal and If you're not 100% happy with our service, we will do our best to rectify it.

    Carpet Cleaning

    To prepare for the carpet clean we do an initial vacuum to remove any debris such as pet hair and general dirt and grime. We do a pre-conditioner spray and spot removal and after preparation we then use powerful hot water extraction process so we can reach the base of the carpets where the bacteria and alergens hide. We sometimes need to do areas more than once to ensure that they are as clean and deodorised as possible. We make sure that all odours are eliminated and you are left with a clean fresh smelling home after the carpets have dried.

     

    Rugs

    We have the expertise to clean many types of rugs and mats including high end oriental rugs. We treat them to remove dust mites, dirt, hair and allergens.

     

    Lounge Suites and Chairs

    Your upholstery - sofa's, chairs, lounge suites, recliners and other furniture all get grubby from everyday living. Getting regular furniture cleaning keeps it looking fresh and new. Our cleaners are trained to work on all types of fabrics and upholstery to ensure that there is no damage or discolouration during the process.

     

    Mattresses

    Cleaning and sanitising your mattresses regularly is essential for your family's health and wellbeing. Our hot water extraction system removes dust mites, pollens, germs and bacteria that have accumulated over the years. We spend so much time in bed, time to make sure that it is as clean as the rest of your home.

    You can select any or all of these items to be steam cleaned, with this complete clean we will need to come to your home and evaluate your requirements and provide a quote at that time.

    What is the cost to get my lounge room cleaned?

    We like to come to you to give a set quote, we can discuss it over the phone and we can give you an estimate. Our minimum fee is $80 which is around the cost of 1 hour cleaning - this should cover your lounge room and hallways (depending upon their size).

    Why should I get my carpets cleaned regularly?

    Vacuuming removes surface dirt only and over time the carpet fibres become grimy and soiled from everyday use. Hot water extraction cleaning removes the deep down dirt and alergens, to provide a clean and healthy environment for your family. If food or drinks have been spilled we may need to treat it with specific chemicals, some that we may need to order in especially. On occasion we need to do a second steam clean to get the carpets and rugs as clean as possible. We will discuss this with you when providing a quote.

    How long will it take for my carpets to dry?

    There are a number of factors to consider when estimating how long it will take carpets and furnishings to dry. It depends on how well you can air the house/rooms, the humidity, how well air flows through your house and the quality and age of the carpet. Turning on your air conditioning, heating or dehumidifier can help speed up the process.

    When can we walk on the carpets?

    There is no hard and fast rule here but it is best to wait as long as possible - 3 to 4 hours is recommended. You can walk on the carpet straight away if necessary, just make sure that it is bare feet only..

    Why hire a company to do my carpet cleaning when I can do it myself?

    Renting a machine takes time, effort and strength, it takes much longer to do than getting a professional and purchasing all the extras certainly add to the cost. What takes you 4-6 hours to do, we can do in a couple of hours. We also have the expertise to remove stains, get closely into corners and can move your furniture quickly and with ease. You just leave us to it and it will all be done for you without any fuss.

    Do I need to move my furniture?

    We recommend that you move your furniture out of the main areas in preparation for the carpet cleaning, this will save time and will save you money. No need to move beds or any very heavy items that don't need to be cleaned underneath, such as display cabinets.
